It is an evening where you and your pals gather to paint your own custom, durable, beautiful ceramic dildos! I’ll bring all the necessary supplies, you provide the location (Edmonton and area only for the moment).

From time to time, SEXPLETIVE will host a Community Dildo Paint night where I supply the venue and offer tickets to anyone who may want to come! These events can be a great way to meet new friends.

The instructions and decorating take approximately 2 hours. I will be in your space for about 2 ½ to 3 hours including setup and cleanup.

Pottery dildo paint nights are $150/person. Once you are done painting your piece and after it is fired in the kiln, you will have a custom, functional, decorative dildo that will last you a lifetime with proper care! A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into making and completing your piece.

As soon as our evening is complete, I will take your piece to my pottery studio for it to be fired! The kiln schedule is variable, so it can take anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks. It is more likely that it will take a couple weeks. You will be updated along the way and your work will be available for pick up at SEXPLETIVE’s studio. Pottery can be a slow art form, which makes the end result so worth it!

Especially when made with extreme care by someone like me :~) Ceramic dildos are very comparable to glass dildos, both have a high tensile strength and it is highly unlikely that they will break during use. Of course this is dependent on how it is made and what materials are used. For ceramic dildos to be safe, they need to be made out of a durable stoneware clay, then finished and completely covered with a body-safe, food-grade, non-porous glaze.

I take numerous steps along the way to ensure that SEXPLETIVE ceramic dildos are as safe for use as possible. Please email me if you have any questions about this process!

When made and cared for properly, ceramic is completely safe. One of the reasons I started SEXPLETIVE is to provide a product that people can trust in an unregulated sex toy industry. Today, sex toys can be made out of anything, and larger corporations tend to mass produce toys with cheap, unsafe materials for a greater profit. I wanted to make something with great care and attention to detail that people can trust and enjoy for a lifetime!

Once you have your piece, you can care for it by washing it before and after each use with mild dish soap and warm water. Please take care not to drop it on a hard surface, this is an instance where you may see breakage. If you notice a crack or chip in the glaze or the structure itself, please discontinue use. I will provide a care sheet for you when you pick up your piece!

SEXPLETIVE dildos are designed to display not hide away, so it is encouraged that you proudly decorate your home with your artwork! If this is not an option for you, you can store it in your drawer in a soft, protective bag.

In addition to being body-safe when properly made and cared for, ceramic is an amazing material for a sex toy! The glaze makes it incredibly smooth and it is firm which can be great for stimulating the g-spot and the p-spot. Ceramic is compatible with any lubricant - water-based, silicone, oil, hybrid, and is super easy to clean! Your piece is also fun for temperature play - cool it off or warm it up by running it under water for a sustained new sensation.

I create each piece to be both functional and decorative, so you can display it in your home if you so choose. A big part of SEXPLETIVE is normalizing conversations around sexuality. Each product looks beautiful and helps foster sex-positivity by creating an environment in which sexuality is not shoved in a bedside drawer, but can instead be talked about as openly and honestly as the dildo is displayed.

Ceramic is also sustainable - it is from the earth and will return to the earth if it has not been glazed. Glazed pieces will last you a lifetime. I only make pieces in response to demand, in small batches to ensure minimal waste.

Ceramic dildos additionally encourage more mindful pleasure in a world where vibrators promise to give you an orgasm in as little time as possible. You deserve to prolong your sexual pleasure, to playfully explore your body, and to slow down.

Absolutely! I will be happy to do my best to accommodate your requests. Please indicate in your personal request form when signing up if this is a special occasion (and who the guest of honor is) and I will have a little something extra prepared.

If you are booking a private paint night, I require one person to sign up and pay initially to hold the date. This payment is non-refundable as this date is being held for you. Additional party members can sign up anytime after that, before the paint night date.

Once signed up, I am not able to refund folks if they can no longer make it. I am able to credit you for a future paint night or you can transfer your ticket to someone else.
